Blog Assignment #10 - The end of a long journey...

I must to be completely honest at this point about the Blog Assignments: it was a really tedious task. I mean, writing each week the first thing that crossed my mind, it didn't look attractive. But as the entries were written, it was suspenseful thinking about "what is the topic for this week?"

There were some entries that I liked to write, as with writing about my six favourite places to visit, or write about things I wanted to post. But other entries were a really boring task, such as the entries related with my career. This is because I don't love what I'm studying, and I think that going to classes is exhaustive enough and writing about it is too much.

Anyway, bored or not, this task helped me to expand my vocabulary, improve my grammar, and start to think in English. In the future, I would include one assignment where the students should record themselves speaking in English. I think it would improve our pronunciation skills, and incidentally, our oral presentation skills.

Finally, I really wanted to write about winter, because winter is coming hahaha. This was my last entry and this is the end of the snaking road, thanks for read

Blog Assignment #9 - What a wonderful home!

When I was reading the instructions for this blog, I started to reflect in a lot of beautiful places where I would call a house my home. After some minutes, I decided that my home must be near a lagoon, in the quietness of the south of Chile.

The cottage in the picture is from Araucania Region, Chile, and it's near the Panguipulli lagoon (I didn't take this picture).

I think that my home should be a small cottage, because I would feel more confortable there than in a big house. However, it must have a big barbeque for roast a lot of meal. Also, it should have a balcony for look the landscape, and enjoy the wind. As well, it must have a minibar inside, for enjoy a rum sometimes, while I write or I read something. Aditionally. it must have a big window or a picture window, where I can see the rain fall, and a big sofa in front of it for enjoy it.

I would keep living in a home like this all my life. I don't mind if it's located at an urban or rural zone, while this doesn't bother me at my home, but it's important that it's located, at least, near an urban zone, because I must buy my stuff, after all, and I don't pretend to live like a farmer for obtain my food, for example.

Why would I choose this remote place, cold, rainy and small? Because I enjoy the quietness, I hate the huge groups of people, and I love the lagoons, its fresh breeze, and its deep blue color. Reasons for the big barbeque? Because, after all, I enjoy my time with my friends too, and I must have a space for sharing with them.
